Skilled Hammer Hand - Hastings

We are on the look-out for a Skilled Hammer Hand to join our Hastings team on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Response Team Manager, you will be involved in minor projects to repair and undertake the maintenance of assets in parks and recreation spaces. The work is varied and could include building walls, paving, installing bollards, picnic tables, park benches and minor construction works. No two days are the same!

The Success Factors:

  • As a Jack-Of-All-Trades, you will be able to demonstrate a broad range of construction and maintenance skills and experience, including carpentry and concrete works
  • You will be self-motived, have the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment and have the desire to complete works to the highest standard
  • Have effective communication skills to liaise with key stakeholders, clients, sub-contractors and members of your team
  • You will demonstrate a positive attitude towards working safely
  • Full driver license with ability to drive a manual vehicle is essential
  • A strong work ethic with a can-do attitude goes without saying
