With a thriving district and strong connected community, Central Hawke’s Bay is in a period of exciting growth and development. With some of the best beaches, fishing and diving spots, water sports, cycling, an incredible number of historic homesteads, family friendly places and events, and so much more, there are plenty of great reasons to consider shifting to Central Hawke’s Bay.
Working for a new joint venture of Veolia and Recreational Services Limited alongside your Council colleagues and the community in Central Hawke’s Bay, you will be leading a new and agile strategic partnership that is taking collaboration to the next level and turning heads in New Zealand and Australia.
We are looking for an energetic, committed people-person – with a ‘make it happen, can do’ attitude. We want a champion to work as a strategic partner with the Central Hawke’s Bay Community to support Central Hawke’s Bay to THRIVE in a new role of Relationships and Outcomes Manager.
If you think we are just looking for a contract manager – think again! This new partnership turns traditional contracting thinking inside out and upside down. While an understanding of maintenance services would be helpful, if you are known and recognised in your industry as having the ability to successfully build outstanding relationships and deliver value-adding results, this is the job you could be looking for.
To work in this fast paced and future focused environment, you will bring your proven people leadership and project management experience and a unique ability to turn strategy into results. In partnership with your colleagues and the community, you will challenge the status-quo and deliver innovation and value to an extent not seen in New Zealand before, drawing on Recreational Services and Veolia’s national and international relationships and experience.
With the right balance of charisma, energy and resilience, knowledge and experience, you will bring your 8 - 10 years post qualification experience in a relevant discipline to deliver results to the Central Hawke’s Bay Community. From mowing lawns, transforming wastewater, delivering high quality water, reporting to elected Councillors and our Directors, to supporting Social and Economic Development in Central Hawke's Bay - your unique skill set will distinctly set you apart from the rest of the field.
If it sounds like we have high expectations – we do, and you will be ready to meet these. This opportunity will be a career defining and unique opportunity for the right person to support the Central Hawke’s Bay Community to THRIVE.
