About the role
As New Zealand’s largest parks and open space company we are seeking an experienced ICT Manger to join our Senior Management Team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
In this role you will be responsible for the management and performance of our technical infrastructure, mentoring and growing a high performing team, and providing technical expertise and service excellence. You will lead the development of ICT strategy to meet the challenges of providing a robust, secure and future proof system.
Our customers are increasing working with us to deliver greater efficiency. The role will also include working with our customer IT teams to improve alignment initiatives will be a critical aspect of this role. You will be the organisational face of our IT services for our customers.
You will be an IT leader with proven experience in providing strategic leadership and operational excellence across the IT function.
You will have considerable experience with infrastructure architecture and transformation projects, acting on opportunities for improvement and embracing change.
You will be comfortable managing a team of technical professionals and dealing with people at all levels.
You will be well organised, pragmatic, a natural problem solver, and committed to service excellence.
You will have demonstrable experience in good financial management practices, and successfully delivering a diverse programme of significant information technology projects while still managing BAU.
You will be required to roll up your sleeves and get things done, leading and working alongside our Auckland based team.
