This is a great opportunity for an experienced Administrator who thrives in a busy environment, is strongly customer focused and enjoys dealing with a variety of people and problems via the phone and email. Based at our Head Office in Takapuna, we seek interest from candidates who enjoy a challenge, can take ownership of their work and are happy to work autonomously, while forming part of a wider administration support team. You will be responsible for a broad range of tasks including:

  • Data entry - ensure all calls/issues/costs are captured accurately and subsequently managed to completion
  • Provide a high level of customer service via phone and email to a variety of people including members of the public, external and internal customers, whilst building strong relationships.
  • Prioritisation and allocation of workload to the operational team and subcontractors
  • Financial management of jobs incorporated in role
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Manage regimes and make necessary adjustments within our internal systems
  • Provide support for Operations Managers and their team
  • Manage mobile phones including new phone set, day to day issues and maintenance of company contacts.
  • Take ownership of the office stationery supplies
  • Support the wider Contract Administrators and Auckland office team

The success factors:

  • A minimum of 2 years administration experience
  • You will have sound customer services skills – nothing is ever too hard or a problem
  • You will have excellent communication and problem solving skills so you can work through concerns with customers
  • You will demonstrate strong computer skills with a high level of data entry accuracy and have intermediate to advanced Excel and Word skills
  • You will have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • You will be a professional, hardworking self-starter, who has a great sense of humour
  • A Full Class 1 driver license is essential
